Originally from the UK, Prophecy moved to Tasmania in 2015 where he discovered his passion for the performing arts. Prophecy has since honed his craft through contemporary voice studies and music production under renowned vocal coach Maria Lurighi.
Prophecy’s theatrical credits span musicals, plays, workshops and cabarets. His performances include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (Bijou Creative, 2018), Les Misérables (ExitLeft, 2019), 21 Chump Street (Old Nick Company, 2019), Shane Warne: The Musical (The Cabaret Club, 2021), Songs For A New World (Australian Musical Theatre Festival, 2022), Anyone Can Whistle (Neglected Musicals, 2022), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (John X Presents, 2023), Things to Ruin (Dare Collective, 2023), and It’s Only Life (Australian Musical Theatre Festival, 2024), and more.
Prophecy is an active solo artist in the Tasmanian arts scene and a member of various groups and bands, including Unearthly Frequencies, Studley Moore, Southern Gospel Choir, and Mycelium. His music is available on all major streaming platforms. In addition to performing, Prophecy engineers live sound for The SESSIONS Project—a local performance hub that fosters collaboration and provides a platform for emerging and established artists. He also works at the Theatre Royal Hobart, supporting the local performing arts community.
