Mark Dickinson

Mark Dickinson is a strong and enduring baritone with a mighty powerful stage presence.

Mark spent eight years living and working on London's West End and his theatrical credits include Irving Berlin’s White Christmas as Sheldrake, the original UK cast of Disney’s High School Musical as Coach Bolton, the original West End cast of The Drowsy Chaperone and Les Miserables including a performance for the Royal Family at Windsor Castle.

Since returning to Australia Mark played the role of Feste in Twelfth Night, Jaques in As You Like It and Claudius in Hamlet, all for the Australian Shakespeare Company, Judas/John The Baptist in Godspell for Room 8, Col Ricci in Passion for Lifelike Touring, Dan in Next To Normal for Doorstep Arts, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins, and David in Company, both for Watch This! Molokov in CHESS, Lt Brannigan in Guys and Dolls, and Mike Kirkeby in Promises, Promises - all for The Production Co. He recently appeared in the Red Stitch production of Rules for Living directed by Kim Farrant and as Menelaus in Paris - A Rock Odyssey for MTM. Mark has also appeared in the highly successful Pop Up Globe, in Othello and as Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing and most recently in the Australian premiere of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.

Mark has extensive experience singing jazz and swing in some London’s top jazz clubs, such as The 606 Jazz Club, with The Hot Orange Big Band, and The Spice Of Life and Volupte jazz clubs with his band Hoosier Daddy!
